DoMinanta is built above all for live recording. If you have a band that plays live – drums, bass, guitar, keys, vocals – this is the place for you. The musicians all play together, and we record the song to separate tracks – up to 16 at once.

The studio was built to a design by the renowned British acoustic designer Philip Newell. The live room is about 33 m². The walls are not parallel, and low-frequency waves are “absorbed” by them instead of reflecting back into the room – so the room has no resonances.
The Live Zone also suits other acoustic projects: drums and percussion, acoustic guitars, strings, saxophones and flutes.
Live Zone
Drums and percussion are recorded in a dedicated area of the studio, the Live Zone – next to a stone wall built specifically for this purpose. The studio is best suited to bands that play live: drums, bass, guitar, keys, vocals.
Dead Zone
Vocals are recorded in the most isolated area of the studio, where there are no reflections from the walls – so the recording sounds natural and clean. Acoustic and wind instruments are recorded here too.
